The Thursday before Easter Friday they had an Easter Bonnet Parade at Kindy and Parents were invited so Zachary & I headed over. Nanna & Aunty Roslyn came too as Ellen and Olivia attend the same Kindy as Lochie at the moment until they move to their new house. I think Lochie was a bit confused about why he was dropped at Kindy and then we came and then left after the parade/morning tea, and then we picked him up in the afternoon. It also was a bit wet so they had the parade inside, and as you can see from the photos Lochie didn't want to wear his bonnet and wasn't very happy about walking in the parade either. Mind you he was pretty happy on Easter Sunday at home when he saw that the Easter Bunny had left him a Car Truck which he hasn't stopped playing with since (Lochie doesn't eat chocolate so he wasn't interested in the chocolate eggs in the truck and instead of eating them he just put them in the back of his trucks and carried them around). I'm sure he will like chocolate in the future but here's an example of the moment for you. Jason was eating a small easter egg and Lochie commented on this and so I asked him if he would like to eat one also and he said yes so we gave one to him and he put it against his teeth and Jason encouraged him to put it in his mouth so he did. I couldn't see his face as he was facing away from me but Jason said it was funny to watch and the next moment he wanted to spit it out so Jason got a tissue and Lochie spat the chocolate out. So that's an example of my child eating chocolate. As I said, I'm sure this will change in the future.
