Lochie came home with many things that he made at Kindy, one being the lovely blue bunny ears that he's wearing in this photo.

Well it feels like we jam packed a lot into only a few days over the 4 day Easter Break so I'll just recap for you what we got up to. Thurs night we took the boys down to the Sandgate Beachfront to watch the fireworks they have to celebrate their annual festival/Brisbane-Gladstone Boat Race. It was a great place to watch the fireworks from as you could see them but the sound wasn't so loud that it could scare them. Friday morning we headed off to church and then headed down to the Beachfront again for a picnic lunch and to watch the start of the boat race. Jason then drove Lochie to his Mum's place at Laidley (1.5hrs west) so he could have his first sleepover at 'Nanny's'. On Saturday, as Jason had to work, Zach and I headed up to our friend Tanya's place as she was turning 30 so we, and my sister and her 2 girls had morning tea with her and her family. On Sunday we then headed out to Jason's mum's place to pick up Lochie and spend the day with the rest of his family. On Monday, the Easter Bunny finally came to our house now that Lochie was home and the boys had great joy playing with their new trucks and having a easter egg hunt around the house. Lochie still isn't really into chocolate and will eat maybe one little one at a time, whereas Zach is our little sweet tooth and is happy to eat as many as he can. Such different boys in so many ways which is great.
