Happy Birthday Aunty Ros

Today we had a Birthday Breakfast down at the beach at Shorncliffe for my sister Ros. Her birthday was actually on Tues but we didn't get a chance to get together as a family to celebrate until this morning. The last 2 days weather has been not great but today was awesome and made our time together even better. The kids had a great time climbing the trees, playing in the sand and on the playground and finally having a walk on the Shorncliffe Pier. The kids slept very well this afternoon that's for sure. We then had an impromptu dinner at Ros & Greg's tonight as my brother Steve had won a meat tray and we decided to get together to use it. Thanks for the meat Steve.

Fathers Day continued

After our lovely family morning together we then had the rest of my family over for lunch. The kids were very excited about giving Grandad their gifts to him also. After an afternoon nap for all children and some adults we then had a lovely afternoon tea with cupcakes Nanna bought from the church Spring Fair and then had a play outside. The kids had a great time playing outside and entertaining us with their antics. We were also involved in some dancing as you can see from the last photo. A great time was had by all and I think we will all sleep well tonight. By the way, Lochie's strange face in the photo of the 4 kids is because he was pushing the toy mower and making the sound of the mower at the same time.

Happy Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers Day to all you fathers out there. Today after helping making Daddy pancakes for breakfast, Lochie and Zach gave Daddy their lovely cards we started making at Mainly Music this week and finished at home. Jason loved them both and then received his present from Lochie from Kindy which contained a key ring with Lochie's photo in it, a fridge magnet with his photo in it, and a lovely tie which Lochie decorated (you can see the tie in the bottom photo). Jason then recieved 2 more presents with one containing the traditional fathers day gift of socks. Of course he was thrilled to receive them!
