Family Holiday to Caloundra

Jason finally was able to take some time off work so after we had a childfree weekend up at Montville which was awesome with great weather, after Lochie finished Kindy on Tuesday we headed up to Golden Beach at Caloundra where we had our holidays last year for three nights. Unfortunately the weather wasn't so great as 'Cyclone Hamish' was heading down the coastline towards us. We didn't let this stop our fun and luckily it didn't rain much so we just had to contend with strong winds which was fine. The boys had fun at the local park and it was great seeing Lochie so much more confident on the climbing parts of the playground. Zach of course wanted to keep up with his bigger brother but is just a little too small for some of the playground although he gave it his best shot. The highlight of our time away would have to be our visit to Underwater World. The boys had a great time and at the end of our time there when I asked Lochie if there was one thing he would like to see before we left, he said that he wanted to see everything again. Zach had a ball too. We went last year on our holiday but he was so small then so it was lovely to see it through his eyes also.

A flying Kiwi visit

We were very blessed to have my Dad's sister Aunty Elaine come and stay with us for 2 nights recently. She hasn't been over since Lochie was 4 weeks old and so it was so lovely to have her meet all 4 kids in person, to see what little people they are developing into. Unfortunately due to her visit being so brief and wanting to spend as much time as possible catching up, I forgot to take any photos until we were at the airport saying goodbye to her.

The Four Musketeers

It's very rare that when we have the four cousins together that they actually are all in one spot standing still and we are able to get a photo of them so this photo is very precious. Thank you Colin Buchanan for being a favourite DVD of all the kids so they stood still for the photo.

Morning Tea at the Airport

A few weeks ago I decided to take the boys out to the airport to watch the planes land and take-off. My dad (Grandad) is a real plane buff so he decided to join us. The boys had a great time and Lochie did try to listen to Grandad as he explained about the different planes but I don't think the details will sink in for a few more years - Lochie just thinks every plane is a jumbo jet!

Our Beautiful Boys!

We take a lot of photos of our boys and keep them mainly on the computer but my Mum recently commented that she didn't have any recent photos of the boys to put up in a frame at her place, especially one of Zach's curly hair that has developed over the last few months. I finally got around to having some printed and decided to print a collage of the boys having fund at the park down at the Sandgate beachfront.
