Well Christmas day was another exhausting day like all the other Christmas's but a great day as well. The boys got their first bikes this year so it was very exciting waking up and finding the bikes near the Christmas Tree. We had breakfast at our house with my family (the Clark side) which has become a tradition which we all enjoy, and then late morning, packed up and headed to Jason's sister Tiffany's place for lunch with the Eigel side of the family. Too much food of course but great company at both places and the boys had a great time playing with all their cousins on the day.

Since my sister Ros and her family have moved up to Toowoomba in June 2009, I've been meaning to go up and stay for a visit but life gets busy and time just got away. After Lochie finished Kindy for the year and in the afternoon of the day that we saw the Wiggles Concert, the boys, Nanna and I headed up for 2 nights. The reason for going was to babysit the girls while Ros & Greg went out to his work Christmas Party but we also fitted a lot of other things in - a trip to the Christmas Lights display in Queens Park, morning tea at the Myers Cafe at Grand Central (they have the best homemade desserts there - a must do for any visit to Toowoomba), a trip out to see Ros & Greg's block of land that they will be building a new house on soon, and lots of playing with each other by the 4 kids. We had a great time and now just have to find another opportunity to go back again - especially to visit the Myers cafe - did I mention the food is good!

Well we attended our first Wiggles Concert. I have to say that I was very impressed and the boys were stuck to their seat for the whole show as there was always something going on. Those wiggles boys sure are fit!

Each year we have enjoyed going to the local Salvation Army church where the boys and I have participated in the program Mainly Music for their Christmas Festival and this year was no exception - the kids love it because it has the farm animals, jumping castle, tractor ride (which are all free) and this year Lochie went on his first pony ride. I love it because of the free fairy floss - oh and of course seeing the kids have a great time! Afterwards we then headed around the suburbs close to us to see the houses all lit up in their Christmas lights - the last picture is of the Sandgate Uniting Churches display which is awesome every year - and I also like buying the fudge they sell there - very food orientated aren't I!
