Easter Parade
Lochie had his first Easter Parade at school. Each class had their turn marching around to music with their special hats on that they had created in class. The next day the Easter Bunny had visiting his classroom and left footprints on the floor and even on one of the tables. The kids were besides themselves with excitement and even Zach was still talking about it when Lochie went back to school after the holidays - Zach wanted to know if the Easter Bunny would be there again when we went back to school.
Wedding of the Year
Jason was so proud to walk his beautiful sister Rachael down the aisle.
A very rare occasion where we are able to get a photo of the four of us together.
The happy couple cutting the cake.
Jason's sister Rachael recently got married to her best friend Aaron. They had a wonderful day celebrating both the ceremony and reception at Bretts Wharf. It was beautiful weather and everything went perfectly. The boys came to the wedding ceremony and then my very wonderful mother took the boys home with their cousins Luca and Finn so we could enjoy the reception child free.

Pirate Lochie
Lochie's class had their turn to do an item at their school Parade and they have been learning about the sea and so they did a pirate song and wore the pirate hats and eye patchs that they made in class. This isn't a great photo of Lochie as he wasn't really cooperating at the time but he actually really enjoyed doing the song and was very proud of himself afterwards.
Family Holiday Part Two - Maroochydore
After leaving rainy Hervey Bay, we headed south and prayed that the clouds would stay north and we would head into a bit more sunshine. We stayed for two nights at Maroochydore Palm Caravan Park in a Cabin and we blessed with great weather. The park was great and had a great playground (the digger was the most favoured by our boys of course), putt putt golf, massive big pillow trampoline that was dug into the ground and even Jason and I had a turn on this which the boys thought was hilarious, pool, and a pond and the back of the park which had ducks, fish and huge eels that you could feed bread to. Don and Lisa also gave us some tickets to Australia Zoo that they weren't able to use so on our way home from our holiday we had the day at Australia Zoo. This was great as we hadn't been since Zach was about 3mths old so he was able to experience so much more this time.
March Family Holiday Part One Hervey Bay
In March of this year we headed off for a family holiday and decided to head north again. We enjoyed going to Hervey Bay a few years ago staying at the Breakfree Resort so we were very lucky to be able to book the same room again which was great as again the boys had a great time watching the boats coming in and out of the marina right in front of out room. We also saw some dolphins playing one morning and even were able to get a photo of a baby one jumping out of the water. We were also able to catch up with our friends Don and Lisa and their 2 boys Ryan and Nathan and the 4 boys all played really well together which was great. We didn't have great weather with it raining a lot of the time we were there but as soon as it stopped raining we made sure we headed out and enjoyed the outdoors. One place that we will definitely return to when we next visit is their new water park which is absolutely free and fantastic for the whole family.
Lego Boy
Over the past year Lochie has really enjoyed playing with his lego and his creativity of making new things just using his imagination and not just following the instructions that comes with the lego has developed more and more as you can see from the creation above.
