Family Cruise Holiday Part 1

For our Family Holiday we headed off on a 7 night cruise up the QLD coast.  Here are the bags being loaded on the ship.
The boys excited and ready to board the ship.
Nearly at the gangway leading to the ship.
The boys in our cabin.  So glad we paid to have a window.  Very handy for drying wet clothes.
Lochie at the emergency briefing.  Yes the life jacket is too big.  It's an adult one as they didn't have the kids ones ready for us in the cabin.  We got given them later.

Tugboat pushing us away from the wharf.
About to go under the Gateway Bridge - and away we go!!!!!

Playgroup Fun at a Deer Farm

Our Playgroup visited a Deer Farm for the morning.  Unfornately we had a bit of rain but inbetween the rain showers the kids had a great time feeding the very willing deer and Zach also loved the old tractor they had.

Another Birthday!

My Uncle Noel turned 70 also.  The cake was very cleverly done using cupcakes which the kids loved especially.

The kids fishing on the pontoon at the party.  The love going up to Uncle Noel and Aunty Wendy's so they can fish!

Lochie's First Face Paint

Yes, that's right.  Lochie had his face painted for the first time at a Birthday Party of one of my friends kids.  Both my boys have never been into having this done so I was quite surprised when he agreed to it.  As you can see from the lack of photo -Zach declined the face painting.

Double Celebration

In October 2011 we had a double celebration on the Eigel side of the Family.  Jason's Mum turned 70 and our niece Luca turned 8.  We headed to Sizzlers for lunch and then went to Queens Park in Ipswich for Birthday Cake and time for the kids to play on the Playground.

Day out on the Citycat

Having morning tea at Southbank.  On the holidays we headed into the city with my sister Ros and her three girls and Nanna.  We firstly caught the train in which was very exciting, then had a play at Southbank, got on a Citycat for a ride along the river, stopped for a bit of lunch, had another ride on the Citycat and then walked up through the city and caught the train home again.

The kids enjoyed the playground at Southbank which had some unusual things to play on.
On the Citycat.

We saw this machine being lifted by a crane up the side of one of the city buildings.  Must have been a funny sight for people inside the building when this passed by their window!
The view from the back of the Citycat - after we had gone under the Story Bridge.

Having lunch before heading back into town and heading home.
