Group Get Togethers

It's amazing how a little TV quietens the children.

I couldn't get all the kids in one shot so that's why we have a number of photos.

After Christmas and just before New Year we had another catch up with our friends Andrew & Bec, Phil & Kerri, and my sister Ros and her husband Greg - and of course all the kids in tow. This time is was at Andrew and Bec's new house and it has a pool so everyone had a great time making use of that - I got to hold Baby Grace instead so I was happy.

First Real Bike Ride

Well after Christmas the boys were champing at the bit to ride their bikes again so we headed down to the Sandgate Beachfront as it's a great spot with a walking path all the way along the beachfront. The boys did really well. Lochie was a bit nervous at first but with a little encouragement he was soon racing ahead. Zach was just happy to sit on his bike and let someone push him so we still need to work on him actually pushing the pedals himself. We were having a great time but as you can see from the photos the rain was heading our way so we packed the bikes back in the car and headed off.
