Big School Boy

Lochie was pretty excited on his first day and ok about being in photos which was great.

Nanna and Grandad came over to share the big moment and Lochie was happy they stopped by.

Jason went to work a bit later this day so he could come along for Lochie's first day of Prep. Lochie was very excited that Daddy was coming as well.

When we arrived, Lochie and the other children were given name tags to wear and could do puzzles until the bell rang and it was time for us parents to say goodbye and for school to start.

Lochie went off to big school this year. For those reading this who aren't in Australia, it's called Prep and he now goes 5 days a week. Going to Kindy last year for 3 days a week was great and really prepared him I think and he has adjusted really well to school. He has a great Teacher called Mrs Booty and Lochie thinks she's even better now that her husband came along last week and he's a Police Officer. He seems to be making friends really well and even on the first day we had no tears and he was happy for us to just give him a kiss and hug and wave him goodbye - we are so proud of him!
